Fermo e l'Europa

In october 2005 the Mayor of Fermo headed the visit of a formal delegation from fermo to Ansbach during 29-30th october and 1st November. Precisely the members of the delegation were: the mayor Saturnino Di Ruscio, the President of the town council Nello Raccichini, the councillor Maria Antonietta Di Felice, the vice-mayor of Smerillo, Fernando Crescini from the town hall of Monte Vidon Corrado and the touristic (tour) operator Francesco Gismondi.
During the visit the delegation from Fermo took part to different institutional moments to meet the local authorities as the Lord Mayor Ralf Felber, the vice-mayor Klaus Dieter Breitschwert, the President of the Local Fachochscule-University of Applied Sciences. The delegation from Fermo visited different sites of the town as the historical church, building and museums, the university and the local industrial centre. The visit included the medieval town of Rothenburg, one of the most important touristic centre of the aerea that is linked from an administrative point of view to Ansbach.
The visit of the delegation from Fermo achieved the sign of a formal proclamation (or protocol) from both the mayors Saturnino Di Ruscio and Ralf Felber where they came to the agreement of a formal town-twinning within the year 2006.
